Mt Wellington is one of the largest economies in the Auckland area. In fact, it is a $10 billion economy – that’s larger than Hamilton’s, New Zealand’s fourth largest city. This underpins why the area is, from a location aspect, a smart area for development.

A site blessing was given by David Wilson-Takaanini of Te Ākitai Waiohua, and dirt that was taken before construction began was returned to the ground. Councillor Denise Lee was present to offer a speech of congratulations, and Wilshire had the opportunity to thank the consultants and construction teams involved in the project. Check out more photos from the evening on our Richmond Facebook page.
